I have just finished a chapter in my nutrition course on vitamins and minerals. It was very in-depth about the different types of vitamins and what we need them for in our lives. Although many doctors do not recommend taking a multi-vitamin, they do recommend eating a balanced diet. Family, chores, and work make it difficult to get balance from our food groups to ensure that we are intaking all the essential vitamins.

Here is an excellent infographic on vitamins and minerals with a  few key items of where  you can get them from in your diet.

I like the chart. Nice, simple, and easy to read. It can be hard eating a balanced diet at times so it’s good to see what we might be missing and how to fix it.

That would be an awesome box to have received! I have to admit that I’m a bit jealous that you got to try all of those products. I think it’s great to receive samples of things to try. It can be a win-win, if you like the product you get to try it and the company can get you as a future customer by letting you sample their product.

It’s so true Jennifer! I had tried a small tube of the Optic White toothpaste and didn’t like it very much. Then when I got the larger tube and started using it, I actually found out that I really like it a lot. I have friends and family that use Optic White, and I could never understand what the fuss was all about, but I can totally understand now. I am actually running low on the mouthwash, and really thinking about picking it up again. So yep- you’re correct with future customer. As for BelVita- well, those babies have had my heart for a while now!
