I have just finished a chapter in my nutrition course on vitamins and minerals. It was very in-depth about the different types of vitamins and what we need them for in our lives. Although many doctors do not recommend taking a multi-vitamin, they do recommend eating a balanced diet. Family, chores, and work make it difficult to get balance from our food groups to ensure that we are intaking all the essential vitamins.
